NBP opens branch in Umerkot

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) which holds the honour of serving Pakistanis in every nook and corner of the country, has opened another branch in Umerkot, Thar Desert area of Sindh. Dr Asif A Brohi, SEVP/Group Chief, Commercial and Retail Banking Group, NBP inaugurated the branch. The branch serves all treasury functions of government and around 20,000 account holders to bank with NBP. The event was attended by Regional Head Hyderabad and Regional Management Team of NBP and other notables of the area.
Dr Brohi while addressing on the occasion said that this branch will play a major role in Umerkot and its suburbs as these are less banked areas where a lot of potential exists which is yet to be explored. He further added that Banking in this area will divulge new opportunities for the people of Thar and suburbs and they will benefit from NBP banking services.
National Bank is having total domestic branch network of 1,266 branches along with 23 international/overseas branches and representative offices in 4 countries with 16,457 dedicated and committed staffs to cater their valued customers.-PR
