Energy crisis: private sector urged to cooperate with government
Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Federal Commerce Minister said on Saturday that the government was aware of public worries over energy crisis and urged the private sector to cooperate with government to overcome the situation. Talking to media at the LCCI, He said the government has invested heavily on small dams and once operational, public would be facilitated accordingly.
According to him, the Kala Bagh Dam was not possible without wide spread consensus. He said government was working on Basha Dam. Regarding the Senior Minister controversy, he said he was described as Senior Minister like Pervaiz Elahi, when he took the oath as federal minister. He said democracy would not hurt from allegations and counter allegations between Pakistan People's Party (PPP). Regarding involvement of his family in the NICL case, he said the issue is before the Supreme Court.
