Taiwan stocks drop

Taiwan stocks dropped 1.22 percent to a nearly three-month closing low on Monday, paced by losses in Acer and other tech exporters amid worries over the outlook for the global economy and the eurozone debt problems. Acer, the world's No 2 PC vendor, shed 4.2 percent, pulling electronics shares 1.33 percent lower. The TAIEX finished down 105.42 points at 8,530.68 on Monday, a level not seen since late in March.
