Lahore District Bar Association (LBA) has banned the entry of touts in all district courts and warned strict criminal action if anyone found submitting bogus documents for personal sureties in bail matters. Talking to APP here on Sunday Vice President LDBA Model
Town Chapter Mian Muhammad Hafeez said that entire LDBA body comprising President Shahzad Hassan Sheikh, General Secretary Rana Intizar, Secretary Farhad Ali Shah, Vice President Asghar Ali unanimously decided in principle to impose complete ban on the entry of touts in district courts to ensure justice to aggrieved litigants.
He said recently three touts were caught red handed in Model Town while submitting bogus property documents in courts in bail matters. He said that it is crime under section PPC 420.468 and 471 and both accused and guarantor can be booked.
He said that one District and Session Judge, 29 Additional District and Sessions Judges, 133 Civil Judges and 47 Special Judicial Magistrates are working in city courts and it was the duty of law enforcement agencies to provide security to the judicial officers.
