Commodities markets witness a few changes as buyers, sellers fail to find meeting ground

A few changes were marked on the wholesale commodity markets, as buyers and sellers failed to find meeting ground. On Monday makai on the cereal side conceded sharply. The Irri-6 Sindh low type stayed put at weekend level of Rs 3600 better type lost Rs 75 to Rs 3650, til low type also stayed put while better type shed Rs 50 to Rs 3800, cottonseed oilcakes retained previous rate at Rs 1380.

On Tuesday minor changes in slow trading were marked on grain market in which Irri-6 Sindh low type rose by Rs 25 to Rs 3625, while other type shed same amount to Rs 3700, cottonseeds oil-cake with bag Sindh inferior type conceded Rs 80 to Rs 1300 the other type, however, rose by Rs 15 to Rs 1425.

Gur inferior type retained the overnight level at Rs 6500 and the good quality gained Rs 100 to Rs 7600. Only one change was seen on the grams side where
bajra prices fell by Rs 100 to Rs 2700-3000 during the thin business. Cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type rose by Rs 27 to Rs 1350 and best quality did not move any side.
