Pakistan and Russia to foster business relations: accord inked
Goharullah, President of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Chairman of Russian Business Council for co-operation with Pakistan, Selizner Gemmadi Nikolaevich have decided to work in close contact to develop business relations between the two countries.
They further expressed interest in co-operation and co-ordination for trade between the two countries and decided to participate in joint venture projects. In this connection, an agreement was signed on 8th June 2011 for one year, which is also extendable automatically for further period of time in the following years.
According to the agreement, Pakistan will explore the need of the Pakistani market in Russia advanced technologies, equipment, material, oil and gas, technology for alternative energy, electro-energy, heavy and light industry, small oil refineries, water cleaning, construction, assembling and supply of agriculture technologies spare parts etc. The Russian side will work with Russian competitive partners interested in Pakistani markets and work on long-term mutual interested projects. Both the parties will try their best to work on prospective programme of development, taking into consideration each other's interest.
