Government committed to provide relief to masses: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Saturday said the government was committed to provide relief to the common people and the budget 2011-12 was also prepared on the same lines. Talking to MNA Khawaja Muhammad Khan Hoti at the PM House, Gilani said the public and media had acknowledged the budget as balanced one.
The Prime Minister said the additional allocation of resources to the provinces would be spent on the public welfare schemes to address the pressing problems of the common man. Khawaja Muhammad Khan Hoti discussed the debate and suggestions put forth by the parliamentarians on various budgetary proposals. Overall political situation was also discussed in the meeting.
