Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 12.13 points, as the Index moved from 2,799.77 to 2787.64 points. The overall turnover amounted to 53,287 shares, as compared to previous turnover of 33,999 shares.
Total 142 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (83) closed in negative territory, 58 landed in plus column and one company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Silk Bank Ltd was 40,000 shares. The volume of Pakistan Petroleum Ltd was 4,100 shares. The turnover of Byco Petroleum Ltd was 3,100 shares.
