Low business was seen on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday as buyers were sidelined mainly because of higher prices, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old (Bardan) was quoted at Rs 2500 and wheat new (bardan) was registered at Rs 2515, other items did not show any change during the day, they said.
On the seeds side cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh inferior type gained Rs 50 to Rs 1350, the good type, however, shed Rs 5 to Rs 1420, they said. Prices on the grams and rice sectors fluctuated but closed at the last day's levels, they said.
