Pakistan Navy and Maritime Security Agency (MSA), rescued 15 fishermen along with a fishing boat on June 11 at sea, off Pasni. According to a statement issued by MSA on Sunday, a Karachi-registered fishing boat "Waadia-Sindh" located off Pasni on June 11, had sent a distress call to HQ MSA requesting for assistance due to engine failure.
HQ MSA immediately contacted HQ Commander Pakistan Fleet, which deputed PNS TARIQ for the rescue operation. The ship's helicopter was immediately flown that located the boat. Subsequently, the boat was taken under tow by PNS TARIQ and brought to safety at Pasni Anchorage.
