Cyclone weakens

Tropical cyclone on Saturday weakened in the Northeast Arabian Sea, some 550 kms south-east of Karachi coast, the Met Office said. The cyclone is expected to move in the direction of north-west in next 36 hours, the Met Office advisory says, forecasting scattered rain, dust-thunderstorm in the lower Sindh region from Sunday evening to Monday.
The Met Office also advised fishermen to halt their sea trips on Sunday and Monday for the sea condition has been very rough. However, it says the seafarers of Balochistan may resume their fishing activities.
