Taiwan stocks closed flat on Thursday, with a decline in cement counters offsetting a rise in biotech and plastics plays. Hon Hai Precision Industry rose 1.49 percent on positive company guidance. The electronics giant said it sees revenue jumping this year. The main TAIEX index fell 6.59 points to 9,000.94 points, after opening up 0.15 percent. Electronics shares were down 0.19 percent. Financial shares rose 0.55 percent.
