Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM), a constituent of All Parties Hurriyet Conference has called upon India to create conducive atmosphere for tripartite dialogue to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris' aspirations.
APHC leader and the JKPM Chairman, Ghulam Ahmed Mir addressing a meeting of the party activists in Rajouri, Indian Held Kashmir, said that the people of Kashmir were engaged in an indigenous peaceful struggle to secure their inalienable right to self-determination, KMS reported.
The APHC leader said that during the past over sixty-three years India had been using tactics of oppression and suppression to crush the freedom struggle of Kashmiri people but had miserably failed in its nefarious designs.
He maintained that the Kashmiris had offered supreme sacrifices for the Kashmir cause and they would continue the liberation movement till its logical conclusion. Others who spoke on the occasion included Mir Shahid Saleem, Qaiser Sajjad Mir, Dr Zahoor Ahmed, Maulana Ali Asgher, Zulfikar Ali, Hafiz Reyaz Dar and Tanvir Mirza.
