UVAS book fair concludes

Thousands of books have been sold. University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS)'s organised first annual book fair -2011. The students from Ravi campus Pattoki, College of Veterinary Science Jhang and official from livestock and dairy development department visited such mega event. They were taking keen interest to select the books including animal husbandry, animal food nutrition, pathology, microbiology, pharmacy, animal genetics, and animal reproduction and varied subjects.
Dean faculty of veterinary science Professor Dr Nasim Ahmad attended the closing ceremony. He said that book reading is developing innovation and creativity and leading towards the leadership. Dr Nasim further added, "that around the year students are taking immense pressure of assignment, practical and presentation but the solution is to choose the books to improve their deficiency in this regard." Dr Aneel Zameer Durani remarked that only book reading could lead to quality research.
