Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh for Planning and Development Dr Kaiser Bengali has suggested high ups of Sindh government to table the Provincial Budget 2011-12 in the Sindh assembly on 10th June. This he said while talking to Business Recorder here on Thursday. He said that we have finalised ADP 2011-12 and meetings are under way with the concerned people and high ups of Sindh government.
On the other hand, reliable sources have told Business Recorder that Planning and Development department has finalised Rs 115 Billion Annual Development Program (ADP) of 2011-12 equivalent to revised allocation for ADP 2010-11. Sources are also of the view that the ADP amount could be increased more because the meetings in this regard are still happening.
According to ADP FY2011-12, Agriculture department has been allocated Rs 3251 million with increase of 53.85%, Food Rs 208 million with increase of 10.29%, Livestock Rs 1679 million with increase of 57.08%, Fisheries earmarked Rs 915.103 million with increase of 10%, Forest, Wildlife and CDA Rs 697.305 million with increase of 14.15% and Industries has been allocated Rs 1000 million with increase of 18.68%.
Besides, Mines and Mineral earmarked Rs 358 million with increase of 10.01%, Water and drainage Rs 3660 million with increase of 40.76%, Coal and energy Rs 3710 million with increase of 11.55%, PP&H Rs 4175 million with increase of 11%, Transport and Communication 11000 million with increase of 30.18%, Education Rs 7733 million with increase of 69.56%, Health Rs 6930 million with increase of 69.23% and Sports and Youth Affairs has earmarked Rs 402 million with increase of 9.96%.
Similarly, Culture has been allocated Rs 400 million with increase of 10.59%, Tourism Rs 191.840 million with increase of 10%, Information and Archives allocated 100 Rs million with increase of 10.91%, Auqaf Rs 240 million with increase of 10.69%, Co-operation only Rs 30 million, Minorities 110 million with increase of 10%, Statistical and Eco, Res Rs 1971.347 million with increase of 31.67%, Social Welfare Rs 155.466 million with increase of 10.91%, Science and Information technology has been allocated Rs 1391.350 million with increase of 10.02%.
Same like that, Women's Development has been allocated Rs 297.843 million with increase of 9.97%, Environment Rs 195.500 million with increase of 9.15%, Allocation for priority program Rs 7720 million with increase of 90.15%, Special Packages would get Rs 9760 million with increase of 15.36%, Rural Development Rs 312 million with increase of 9.69%, Antiquities Rs 427 million with increase of 10.05%.
Human Rights Rs 100 million with increase of 11.11%, Allocation for directives would be Rs 3000 million with 50% increase, Special initiatives unit allocation is Rs 20650 million with huge increase of 532.47% and Matching allocation has been allocated Rs 2119.283 million with increase of 10%.
It is also pertinent to mention here that Special Projects earmarked Rs 15985.213 million with decrease of 14.28%, Manpower and Employment Rs 114 million with decline of 11.42% and Investment Development allocated Rs 141.915 million with decrease of 54.51%.
