KU cancels 18 bogus admissions

Karachi University has cancelled the admissions of 18 students who got admissions on fake intermediate mark sheets in university and its associate degree colleges during academic year 2009-2010. The university cancelled admissions of Syed Mehmood (BL) of SM Law college, Danyal Naseem (B.Com), Government City College, Fatima Khalid (BSc), APWA College for Women, Nadia Naz (B.Com), Govt. College for Women Korangi, Saeeda Bano (MBBS), Liaquat Medical College for Medical and Dispensary, Saira Dedar (BSc) Jamia Milia Government College Malir, Abdul Qadir (B.Com) Government College of Commerce and Economics, Zohaib Hassan (BA), Siraj-ud-Dula College. The Karachi University also cancelled the admissions of students including Abdul Mueez Siddiqui, Mohammed Danish Khan of Mass Communication Department, Sahresh Rizvi, Mohammed Feroz Alam Khan, English Department, Mohammed Fayaz-u-Din of Physics Department, Ambreen Nisar Farooqi of Botany Department, Fawad Ahmed Khan of Economics Department, Junaid Iqbal of Business Administration Department and Amna Baber of Pharmacy Department.
