Handing over of plots auctioned on May 30: CDA board meeting within next few days to give final nod
A meeting of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board will be held within next few days to give final nod regarding handing over of residential plots auctioned on May 30 to the successful bidders.
Spokesman of the Authority, Ramazan Sajid on Monday told Business Recorder that there were a total of 24 plots that were to be auctioned but one plot situated in Sector G-9/2 is under litigation and hence twenty-three plots were offered for auction.
He further said that the market is stable at the moment and was happy over the response with regard to auction of plots. He was optimistic that the authority will also get overwhelming response in auction of the commercial plots. CDA on Monday offered twenty-three plots for auction and got offer of Rs 358.2 million for the said plots. These plots are situated in Sectors F-10, F-11, G-10 and D-12. The bidding was held at Community Centre Aabpara.
Ten plots were offered for auction in Sector F-11/1 and F-11/2 of these plot No 228-C measuring 500 Sq Yards received the highest bid of Rs 55, 000 per square yard. Whereas Plot No 153, street No 24, measuring 400 Square Yard got the lowest bid that is Rs 40,500 per Square Yard in the sector F-11.
CDA also offered 09 plots located in Sector G-10/2 for auction, out of which plot No 102-B measuring 233.33 Square Yard received the highest bid of Rs 47, 000 per Square Yard. Whereas Plot No 68, street No 02, measuring 311 Square Yard received the lowest bid @ Rs 37,500 per Square Yard.
During the auction of 02 plots measuring 355 square Yards in the sector D-12/3 and 01 each in F-10/2 and G-10/3, plot No 224 of G-10/3 got the highest bid of Rs 50, 000 per square yard. Saeed-ur-Rehman Member Finance, while Tahir Shamshad, Member Estate & Planning & Design, Abdul Jabbar Malano, Member Engineering, Director Public Relations, Director Estate Management-I, Director Estate Management-II, Director One Window Operation, and Deputy Financial Advisor were the members of the auction committee.
The auction committee would submit its recommendations to the CDA Board, which is the final approval Authority. The authority will be offering commercial plots situated in F-7, F-11, G-10, G-11, I-8, I-11, industrial plots in I-9, I-10 and orchards at Murree road and Kahuta road soon.
