ANP leader among three killed in attack

President ANP, tehsil Matta, Muzaffar Ali Khan along with a policeman and guest were killed when unknown assailants attacked his hujra with hand grenades and automatic weapons on Saturday. According to police, assailants first attacked the hujra of Muzaffar Ali Khan with hand grenades and then started indiscriminate firing on people present in the hujra in wee hours today.
As a result, Muzaffar Ali Khan, police constable, Abdullah and a guest Sher Rehman r/o Shah Dheri were killed on-the-spot while another policeman Zamin Zada sustained injuries. The bodies and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Matta. Security forces have cordoned off the area and intensive search for the assailants was underway in the area. It was the first fatal incident in a year since peace restored in the area. Matta police have registered case against unknown attackers.
