Petition against Ogra chairman's appointment: respondents re-issued notices

Supreme Court on Thursday re-issued notices to respondents in a petition challenging Tauqir Sadiq's appointment as chairman Ogra. A three-member bench comprising CJ Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Muhammad Sair Ali and Justice Ghulam Rabbani re-issued notices to respondents in the petition of executive director (Gas) Ogra, Muhammad Yasin, who has prayed the apex court to declare Tauqir Sadiq's appointment as illegal.
The bench re-issued notices to Federation, Secretary Establishment Division, Secretary Cabinet Division, Senior Joint Secretary/Additional Secretary Cabinet Division and to chairman Ogra for June 1, 2011.
