National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) could not find any fingerprint match of the terrorists involved in Sunday's attack on PNS Mehran, sources in the Authority revealed to Business Recorder on Thursday. Investigators, trying to trace those behind this high profile terror strike on a sensitive defence installation, sent the finger print and DNA samples of the dead terrorists involved in the attack to NADRA.
Sources in NADRA confirmed that the fingerprints were not on file in the national database. National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) sources confirmed that the DNA samples have also been received but stated that NADRA databases do not possess any record of DNA, so the DNA samples cannot be examined in NADRA. NADRA has only record of fingerprints and is gradually moving towards facial records, but it has no record of DNA samples, footprints or eye-scans, sources said.
