Three killed in separate accidents

At least three persons were killed in separate mishaps at various parts of the metropolis here on Wednesday. According to details, a man was crushed to death at railway track in Shah Faisal Colony within the limits of Drigh Road Railway police station. The victim 27-year-old Rana Bilal son of Zulfiqar, a resident of sector 3 Shah Faisal Colony, fell down on track when he tried to catch running local train.
Resultantly he died on the spot. The body shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for legal formalities and later handed over to his family. Police official said victim was an employee of private company. Yet another man was crushed to death at Defence Commercial Street in the limits of Gizri police station. The victim identified as 65-year-old Ejaz son of Baqar Uddin, a resident of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase VII, was hit by rashly driven vehicle when he reached near Commercial Street DHA Phase XI on his motorcycle.
Resultantly he died on the spot. The body was shifted to JPMC for medico legal formalities and later handed over to his family. Police registered a case against unknown driver and initiated probe. A young man was killed in road mishap at Phase II extension the remits of Defence police station. The victim 22-year-old Michael Masih son of Karamat Masiha, a resident of Punjab Colony, fell down from his bike due to over speed near Defence Phase II and died on the spot. Police shifted his body to JPMC for legal formalities.
