The ministerial staff of Islamabad Police should accomplish their duties in responsible manner to improve the image of capital police, said Wajid Ali Durrani, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad here on Wednesday.
"Capital Police is committed to secure the Capital City and provide complete peace of mind to people of the area," the IGP said while addressing the 30 employees of ministerial staff of Islamabad police who completed their computer-training course successfully at Police Line Headquarters.
Around 30 employees including UDCs and LDCs completed the training and were handed over certificates by IGP Islamabad. Wajid Ali Khan Durrani urged the employees of ministerial staff to work hard, as it is key to success, adding that those police officials performing well would be awarded, while those involved in dereliction of duties would not be spared. He also announced to take welfare steps for the employees of police and resolve their problems on priority basis.
