Regional Police Officer (RPO) Aftab Ahmed Cheema inaugurated security gate installed at the main gate of district courts here on Wednesday. This gate has been donated by Industrial Police Liaison Committee (IPLC). Syed Omer Nazar Shah, Chief IPLC briefed the RPO about the importance of this security gate. He said that the vehicles intending to enter into the district courts would be stopped at red signal.
The electronic gadgets would completely scan the vehicle in addition to recording its registration number and data. After clearness green signal will allow the vehicle to enter into the premises of district courts. The cleared vehicle will also get a parking sticker, which would be placed on its front wind screen.
Syed Omer Shah, said that another security gate would also be installed in commissioner office within one week. He said that IPLC has also provided 4 wheelers and 2 wheelers to the police for extensive patrolling in different localities of the city, especially in Khurrianwala area.
Nazim Shahzad IPLC co-ordinator for Iqbal Town, Coordinator Ahmed Shafi, CPO Dr Usman Anwar, President District Bar Association (DBA) Fawad Ahmed Cheema and other office-bearers of the district bar were also present. RPO thanked Syed Omer Nazar Shah and his team to support police in improving the overall law and order situation in Faisalabad. RPO also visited the office of DBA and asked lawyers to improve their security through active participation of community. He said that police were making best efforts to provide maximum security despite of limited resources.
