Pakistan Meteorological Department has on Tuesday forecast scattered rains with dust/thundershower in the country during next three days. The met office said weather system of light to moderate intensity is expected to grip upper and central parts of Pakistan from Tuesday night, likely to persist for two-three days. "Hence, from May 25 to 27 over different parts of the country spell of scattered rains/thundershower accompanied with gusty winds/dust-storm is expected," he added.
According to them, scattered rain are expected over Northeast Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa during Wednesday/Thursday, while rain with thundershower accompanied with gusty winds likely in Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during Wednesday to Friday. Isolated rain/showers may also occur in upper Sindh on Thursday. Possibility of hailstorm/dust-storm and isolated heavy falls at one or two places in central parts of Punjab cannot be ruled out.
