Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday expressed deep grief over the death of Hakim Ali Zardari, seasoned politician and father of President Asif Ali Zardari. The Prime Minister termed the passing away of late Hakim Zardari, as a great loss for the country. He said the nation had deprived of a seasoned politician who contributed positively for the country.
Paying tribute to the late politician, the Prime Minister said that services of Hakim Ali Zardari for the welfare of people would be long remembered. He said Hakim Zardari was a close companion of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and struggled throughout his life for the restoration of democracy in the country. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss with equanimity.
