Mian Ahmed informed that Port Qasim Industrial Zone & Landhi Industrial Zone are the backbone of the Economy where major foreign direct investment is being done, Industries like Engro, Lotte, Indus motors, FFBL, Gamalux, Ali Industries, Kissan Oil, BOC etc operate in this area.
The industrial Zone of Port Qasim is spread around 12,000 acres where around 50,000 work forces are employed. At a time when industrial production needs to be boosted to help improve the economy, incidents like these will act as a serious deterrent to investors local as well as foreign.
We would appreciate if the above mentioned suggestions are implemented, we will achieve the mutual goal to keep this Industrial area safe and peaceful, which will attract local & foreign investors and will bring direct & indirect financial benefits to the area and nation.-PR
