Regulatory duty on paper and paper products has been challenged before the Supreme Court. A local paper importer company stated that the federal board of revenue had imposed 15 percent duty on the paper and its products which was effecting the import and had created an artificial crisis. He therefore prayed to the court to declare levy of this regulatory duty as illegal.
