Kharoatabad incident: Judicial tribunal to submit report within 14 days

The judicial tribunal comprising Balochistan High Court judge, Mohammad Hashim Kakar would submit its report on Kharoatabad firing incident within 14 days to the provincial government. Balochistan Home Secretary, Zaffarullah Baloch said on Saturday that the tribunal which has been constituted under the directive of Balochistan Chief Minister, Nawab Mohammad Aslam Raisani, is bound as per law to submit its report within a period of 14 days.
However, it may take a little more time in view of the complications involved in this regard, he added. "Action would be taken against responsible for the incident which left three women among five persons stated to be Chechen national killed in the light of report of the tribunal", he said, adding no one has yet contacted provincial government for handing over bodies of the victims. The home secretary informed that Balochistan police and Frontier Corps are conducting their respective departmental inquiries into the incident, which would also help ascertain actual causes leading to the incident.
Meanwhile, Balochistan Police Surgeon at Bolan Medical Complex said the final autopsy report of Kharoatabad incident's victim would be submitted on May 23. He revealed that one of the women victims of the incident was found seven-month pregnant during the autopsy and death of all of them was caused by multiple bullet injuries.
