'We should stop relying on others'

Managing Director Siemens (South East Asia) Sohail Wajahat in his lecture on "Career Planning, Corporate Leadership and Good Governance" has said if we stop relying on others and utilise our own resources we will progress. Delivering a lecture at Bashir A. Malik auditorium of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) he further said that there was no short cut to success therefore they would have to be determined.
He advised students to choose the field of study in which they are interested because they could not excel until and unless they study with interest and full dedication. He added that practical and working life is quite different and difficult as compared to student life so be ready to deal with all kinds of challenges. He said that to be successful in life, students' vision should be clear and they should know what was their target and how it could be achieved. Chancellor SSUET, ZA Nizami said that their graduates were getting good opportunities in job market in the country.
