Abbottabad operation: LHC approached for expulsion of US ambassador

A constitutional petition has been filed before the Lahore High Court praying to direct the government to call back Pakistan Ambassador to America to register protest against the violation of Pakistan's territorial sovereignty by carrying out Abattabad operation.
The petitioner, Barrister Muhammad Iqbal Jafree, also prayed to the court for a direction to the government to turn the US Ambassador out of the country, terming him persona non grata. He said the court may also ask the government for leading the matter to International Court of Justice for such an attack is a serious and grave infringement of international law on the territorial rights and sovereignty of a state. He said that given the facts what happened, the situation merits a strict response from Pakistan and as first measure, Pakistan must cut off Nato supplies to Afghanistan.
