The campaign to recover loans extended by Punjab Provincial Co-operative Bank Limited for Rabi Crop 2010-11 and earlier, is in full swing, said Advisor to Chief Minister on Co-operatives, Raja Ashfaq Sarwar. He stated this while briefing a delegation about various activities being carried out by the bank in the agriculture and livestock sectors, here on Saturday, said a spokesman.
Sarwar informed that at present, the bank is disbursing loans for Khareef Crop 2011, medium term loans for purchase of tractors and other agricultural implements and loans for livestock farmers. It has also initiated training for small businessmen so as they could take advantage of the scheme, he added.
