Four bullet-riddled and tortured bodies were found in gunny bags in various parts of the metropolis here on Saturday. According to details, first body was found in gunny bag at Edigah area near old Haji Camp, Timber Market. The victim, who was identified as Arshad, 30 alias Bhooma son of Abu Talib, was the resident of Mehmoodabad.
Similarly, two more bullet-riddled and tortured bodies were found in gunny bags at Gatar Baghicha, Pak Colony. One of the victims was identified as Azeem son of Haji Muhammad Khan, a resident of Mehmoodabad, while the identity of other was yet to be ascertained. Police said the victims Arshad and Azeem, who were kidnapped by Lyari gangsters from Kalri Lyari over the suspicion of informers of Pakistan Rangers on last Friday, were gunned down after a day. They said that both victims, who were relatives and unmarried, were kidnapped from the marriage ceremony of deceased Arshad.
No case was registered till filing of this report. Yet another bullet-riddled body of a youth was found in Nullah at Dhobi Ghaat, Pak Colony. The identity of the victim was yet to be ascertained, while police found four-day old body from Nullah located at Dhobi Ghaat, Pak Colony. Police shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy and later moved it to Edhi Morgue till identification.
