Judicial training: body set up to prepare report on legislation

A sub-committee, headed by Pervaiz Ali Calla, Director General, Federal Judicial Academy, would prepare and submit a detailed report regarding uniform legislation for imparting judicial training in Provincial Judicial Academies and FJA, essential for promotion of the judicial officers at all levels.
This was decided at a high level meeting presided over by Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, Judge of the Supreme Court/judge administration Federal Judicial Academy, here on Saturday. It was decided that the committee would comprise other nominees of High Courts and Secretary Ministry of Planning and Development, Sohail Ahmad.
