Ikhtiar Ahmed Khoso, Regional Business Co-ordinator of Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA), Hyderabad said that SMEDA, Hyderabad has signed a contract for business plan with an investor Ibrahim Rajper. He said that business plan is a document that is mostly used to convince the investors specially the banks.
Calf fattening is one of the profitable business and is being promoted by the livestock departments. Incorporation of this business will help to promote the livestock sector and will be the sample for Hyderabad's investors. The farm will have a capacity of keeping the 250 to 300 animals at a signal lot.
Khoso further said that such business plans are also made by independent consultants that charge from Rs 100,000 to 300,000 and onwards, SMEDA is only charging Rs 10,000 for a business plan. He said that SMEDA, Hyderabad is promoting the SMEs in the region and help them in project identifications, access to finance, business plan making, and entrepreneurship development through training services and give professional analysis of the business. He further said that SMEDA has already made number of pre-feasibility studies to help the investors of different sectors for investment and they can be accessed on SMEDA's website.
