Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani while underlining the importance that Pakistan attaches to its close cordial and fraternal ties with Qatar, has called for rejuvenating the relationship through exchange of high level visits between the two countries.
The prime minister invited Ameer of Qatar and also his Qatari counterpart to visit Pakistan while expressing the hope that these visits would be materialised in near future. The prime minister was talking to ambassador of Qatar Sayar A Rahman Al-Mawdah who called on him at Prime Minister House here Wednesday. The Prime Minister underlined the imperative of focusing on further promotion of trade, economic and investment ties, in order to add substance to the bilateral relations. He called for implementation of all the agreements and MoUs already signed between the two countries.
