Secretary Supreme Court Bar Association Qamaruz Zaman Qureshi has announced to launch "Pakistan Zindabad movement" to create awareness about nationalism among masses. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday at Supreme Court building, he said after Osama Bin Laden operation by US army in Abbottabad, no reaction has been expressed by Pakistani nation which suggested that nationalism is at the verge of collapse.
"Currently, we are divided on the line of, political parties, provincialism and ethnicity. No one talks about nationalism," he said. He said at the time of earthquake and flood, we were united as a nation and showed complete solidarity. Surprisingly, the same unity has gone when it comes to the issue of sovereignty.
He said he along with his colleagues would go to all the provinces to promote nationalism, which is at the lowest ebb. He said he was not in favor of seeking resignation as it is up to politicians to seek resignations. We only want to unite nation, which is fully capable of defending every each inch of homeland. He said he would not use SCBA platform for the movement.
