Job Fair 2011 held

The Punjab University College of Information Technology (PUCIT) held its first-ever "Job Fair 2011" at Old Campus, which attracted a positive response by university graduates and final year students who turned up in large numbers to explore new horizons in professional life in multinational and national IT giants, besides seeking information about the available foreign scholarships.
Around 18 reputed IT organisations set up their stalls at the career fair and informed the students about available vacancies at their installations. The companies conducted interviews of over 300 candidates, written tests of 200 students and collected 150 resumes.
Talking to media, the students lauded the services of Principal Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar and said that because of his initiatives, students had been provided with quality IT education and healthy academic environment.
