Mona Naqsh is a painter who chose flowers as a subject for her artistic career and decided to become the saviour of flora through her art. Her recent paintings exhibition titled 'Silent Sermon' at Unicorn Art gallery, Karachi reflects her sensitive personality.
The spectacular exhibition features a wide variety of Mona's floral still-life paintings and drawings. A book about the life of the artist titled 'Mona' was also launched at the occasion. Being daughter of Jamil Naqsh who is also her mentor she started painting since her childhood as she got strongly influenced by her father. Nature gives the feeling of peace and tranquility and art helps to express one's feelings therefore Mona preferred flowers to express herself.
She listens to the silent voices of nature and transforms them on to her canvas. She gives words to the unspoken beauty that spreads around us. Flowers, leaves, branches provide her joy and harmony.

The same subject painted again and again but with a fresh look and composition arranging the flowers petals some times clear and in others abstract shapes appear in the crystal vase merging petals in to colours and the flow of colours gives you the direction of composition.
