The International Science and Engineering Fair 2011 would commence from May 9 at Los Angeles in US. It is a programme of the Society for Science and the Public, says an announcement of the Intel Pakistan here on Friday. It said that some 1,500 high school students, representing 65 countries, would participate in the four-day fair and showcase their research projects.
Four students from Pakistan will also take part in this very event, namely: Nazima Suhail (Karachi), Mehwish Ghafoor (Islamabad) Ambreen (Islamabad) and Habibullah (Lahore). They were selected in view of their projects at the National Science Fair. Country Manager of Intel Pakistan Naveed Siraj said that international Science and Engineering Fair provides an opportunity for the young Pakistan scientists to share their ideas and showcase their cutting-edge science projects.
