Economist Mirza Ikhtiar Baig said on Thursday France was a big market for Pakistani goods, especially textile products. He said talking to a Private News Channel that Prime Minister Gilani was paying a timely visit to France, which would provide good opportunities to the country for enhancing trade with France.
He said France had built submarines for Pakistan Navy adding that private sectors of both the countries would contact each other after formation of business council, for which a memorandum of understanding (MoU) had been signed by private sectors of both the countries. He said Pakistani government was trying to focus on economic issues and Osama's death would convey positive message to investors, as leader of a terror network had been killed.
