Pak Oasis also believes in local youth skill development and providing employment to technically qualified (B.E./B.Tech/Diploma) local people meeting criteria for employment and successfully completing the training program from Pak Oasis training centers to operate and maintain Pak Oasis Plants as per the SOPs. All the plants design and install by Pak Oasis are working by well trained and skilled staff without any failure without any additional cost for replacement of any major /minor equipment with optimal membrane life upto 6-7 years.
More than 300 jobs offered to local youth and in future it will reach upto 500 local technical staff till December 2011. After training and hands on experience, the technical staff will have chance to work anywhere in Pakistan or abroad, and, in this case more opportunities for Engineers and Diploma Holders will be increased. Effective and Modern Filtration Technology for Municipal Water should be encouraged to remove Pollutants from the source of canal water supply.
Due to disposal of pollutants in natural water bodies, the quality of surface water is highly contaminated and need to be treated before supplying it to the communities in order to remove potentially harmful water borne diseases. The major pollutants are bacteria, virus and excess quantity of heavy metals, organic / inorganic salts, silt, rust, dust and other suspended solids.
The conventional filtration plants constructed mainly for removal of suspended solids through sand filtration beds and removal of bacteria by dozing Chlorine are found non-effective to remove virus and other pollutants and need to be modified or replaced with effective filtration treatment at optimal capital and operational cost in order to provide sustainable and consistent source of safe quality water to the communities.

The Largest Ultra Filtration Plant in Sindh Province Pak Oasis is jointly working in Pakistan with Veolia Water and Technologies, France and the Pakistan largest Ultra Filtration Plant capacity 17 million US gallons per day is being under commissioning by Pak Oasis and Veolia in Sindh Province and will be operational from January 2011.
