Thin trading was seen on the wholesale grain and seed market on Wednesday in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old Bardan posted fresh gain of Rs 20 to Rs 2360 and new type followed the same pattern, rising Rs 10 to Rs 2375, other items maintained overnight levels during the day. Gur low type was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 5800 and best type gained Rs 200 to Rs 6600, they said.
On the seed side cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type shed Rs 20 to Rs 1330 and best quality was down by Rs 10 to Rs 1370, they said. On the grams sector only one change was seen as Gram Australia shed Rs 100 to Rs 4400-4650. Grams dal Australia low quality lost Rs 100 to 4900 and good type shed Rs 50 to Rs 5150, other items maintained overnight levels in process of trading, they said. On the rice side Irri-6 low type picked up Rs 35 to Rs 3375 and best quality was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 3500, they said.
