Pakistan beat West Indies by eight wickets in the first one-day international on Saturday at the Beausejour Cricket Ground here. After winning the toss West Indies opted for bat and scored 221 for loss of six wickets in allotted 50 overs. Darren Bravo was the prominent scorerer with 67. Pakistan scored 222 for loss of two wickets in 41.3 overs. Misbah-ul-Haq remained not out at 73, Asad Shafiq made 61 and remained not out.
