Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) believes in promoting trade instead of relying on foreign aid and the need of the hour is to rely on local resources to steer the country out of prevailing economic crises. The Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Mushood Ahmed Khan said here on Wednesday that time has come to say goodbye to foreign aid and put the country on the path of self-reliance.
Regarding the current visit of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to China, he said: "This visit will help further strengthen bilateral relations between China and Pakistan." He added that Punjab government is taking all out steps to overcome energy crisis. The PPP-led coalition government could overcome present challenges by showing commitment and seriousness. According to him, China can help Pakistan to revive its economy and we need to take benefit from Chinese experience for the development of the country.
