The First Youth Theatre Festival would be organised from April 27. This was announced by Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs, Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari. He was presiding over a meeting held in his office here on Monday. The minister said that the two-day event would be organised in collaboration with the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi. He further pointed out that the Festival would help provide a platform to the youngsters to display their talent and abilities.
Sindh Secretary Youth Affairs, Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, said that such festivals would also be organised in other districts of the province. The President of Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, Muhammad Ahmed Shah, was of the view that the Theatre Festival would prove to be a milestone. The Director Youth Affairs, Khurshid Ali Shaikh, said that the last date for registration for the Theatre Festival is April 23. The audition for the event would be conducted on April 25, he further stated.
