Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Thursday directed the Ministry of Petroleum and National Resources to convene a meeting of Gas Load Management Committee to review the gas supply situation in the country. The Prime Minister directed that representatives of all the major stakeholders be invited to the meeting on (Friday) April 15, to be chaired by the Minister for Petroleum, to find a solution and to minimise problems of the industry and the common man.
He asked the Committee to analyse the gas shortage situation and rationalise distribution so that the problems of the people and various sectors can be reduced substantially. Following the Prime Minister''s directive, the Ministry for Petroleum and Natural Resources has invited the representatives of Aptma, fertiliser industry, power plants, FPCCI, Overseas Pakistanis Foundation, gas companies and others.-PR
