The State Bank of Pakistan has constituted a four-member committee to resolve the issues relating to currency exchange companies. The committee will also work for implementation of anti-money laundering law and SBP regulations. A delegation of eight members of Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) had met State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Governor Dr Shahid Hafeez Kardar last week at SBP head office and had discussed various issues.
Co-ordination committee was also formed during a meeting. The four-member committee will have two representatives from SBP and two from exchange companies.
