Government asked to make public deal if any permitting US for drone attacks

Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) here on Monday called upon the government to make public if any agreement permitting America to operate drone attacks in Pakistan. A resolution unanimously carried out against the US drone attacks on the tribal areas of Pakistan asked the government to refrain the attacks employing all means.
The General House of the Bar meeting, with President Asgher Ali Gill in the chair, urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhamamd Chaudhry, to set up a commission to bring to the public the deal on drone attacks so that responsibilities could be fixed on the persons for giving permission to the US for attacks.
The House also decided to send copies of the resolutions to the bars at district and tehsil level throughout the province to enable them formulate strategy against the drone attacks. The house also demanded of the government to implement the Supreme Court decisions without any delay. Speaking to the House, advocate Ahmad Awais, Muhammad Azhar Siddique, Muhammad Sharif Chohan, Allah Buksh Gondal, Malik Amjad Pervez and Raja Zulqurnain lamented that despite a resolution by the Parliament, drone attacks were continuing unabated.
