Sindh Minister for Fisheries Zahid Ali Bhurgri, who is also President of Pakistan Peoples Party of the district Sunday reviewed progress of the ongoing House Census. Bhurgri visited all areas of Union Council 1 Taluka Qasimabad including Sheedi Village, Sehrish Nagar, Wapda Colony, Mir Fateh Colony, Old Wahdat Colony, Anwar Villaz, Giddu Naka and other localities and acquired first hand information regarding the process.
He advised people to identify bottleneck or irregularities, if any so that the same could be timely rectified. He said that information/complaint cells have been established in each office of PPP in the area to receive such complaints and called upon people to be proactive to ensure future prosperity. He asked the inhabitants whether they are satisfied with the ongoing house census process and being facilitated by PPP workers in this regard. The minister said the entire district has been divided in blocks and each Mohla or block has the committee of PPP workers, stakeholders and opinion leaders to monitor the census process and ensure transparency.
