Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab has registered a case against a schoolteacher for taking bribe from the sanitary workers of Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Gujjar Khan. Muhammad Irshad, schoolteacher of Government Middle School Jhand Nagar, Gujjar Khan took rupees 30,000 from 13 sanitary workers on the pretext of getting age relaxation orders from the government.
He provided them fake documents prepared in connivance with Nadeem Butt, a clerk of TMA Gujjar Khan. Director Anti-Corruption Rawalpindi Division, on a complaint, conducted inquiry in which all the allegations levelled against Muhammad Irshad proved true. Circle Officer ACE Rawalpindi has registered a case against the schoolteacher and further investigation is underway.
